Senior HR Advisor (12 month fixed term contract)

This role can be on a hybrid working basis, which means you’ll have the opportunity to spend time working both in the studio and at home. We can provide a comprehensive relocation support package as part of any offer, should you need to relocate.  

WHAT’S THE ROLE?

We are looking for a Senior HR  Advisor on a temporary basis to cover a period of maternity leave.  Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, the Senior HR Advisor will assist in providing a proactive and effective HR service across their client groups.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Developing and maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships.
  • Working closely with our people managers to provide day to day HR support, ensuring timely and consistent advice and coaching to build capability, develop rising stars and support talent retention.
  • Managing and mentoring the HR Advisor and HR Assistant within your workstream.
  • Tracking, monitoring and reporting on a wide range of key HR data/metrics, providing recommendations to management based on data analysis
  • Providing advice, guidance, and support to managers on performance & capability reviews, absence management, resolution of grievances and disciplinary issues etc.
  • Supporting the HR Business Partners with the development and delivery of business programmes and strategy, contributing to and owning a range of HR projects across the full employee life cycle, such as succession planning, benefits & reward, L&D, annual staff survey, change management etc
  • Supporting the HR Business Partners with the quarterly promotion process and annual salary reviews
  • Working closely with the HR Business Partners to evolve people processes and structures, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Writing and presenting information briefings on a range of HR related topics, projects and initiatives
  • Ensuring all HR policies are in line with employment law, writing and developing policies polices where required, and providing advice and guidance to managers
  • Maintaining the integrity of our employee data in our HRIS.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • CIPD qualified level 5 or above.
  • Demonstrable experience in an operational HR role preferably within a technical or creative industry.
  • Excellent understanding of UK employment law with experience in handling sensitive employee relations issues.
  • Analytical with the ability to identify trends and act accordingly.
  • Ability to prioritise issues, foresee and manage potential conflicts.
  • Pro-active with a continuous improvement approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
