Given the nature of this role, the successful candidate will need to be fully studio based and we are unable to offer remote or hybrid working. We can however provide a comprehensive relocation support package as part of any offer, should you need to relocate. 

WHAT’S THE ROLE?

Supporting the Facilities Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the efficient running of our studio’s operations. You’ll help and assist with the smooth running of both soft and hard FM, Canteen, Health &Safety, company events, and the general day-to-day running and upkeep of our gaming studio. You’ll be joining a passionate Facilities team whose aim is to provide a positive, comfortable, and welcoming environment for all of our people through a can-do, proactive, and responsive approach. This role can provide a fantastic entry-level opportunity for someone looking to kickstart and develop their career in facilities management.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Supporting the Health, Safety & Facilities team with day-to-day operational tasks, and helping to maintain a welcoming, comfortable, and well-presented Studio. 
  • Conduct site inductions, tours, and cover Reception during periods of absence and lunch time. 
  • Triage incoming requests via the internal ticket system; allocating within the Department as required, resolving where applicable and ensuring progress is communicated. 
  • Arrange distribution, collection, and deployment of equipment and other stock across the Studio.  
  • Assist with shipping and receiving, including supporting with receipt of goods-in, working closely with the Catering Team when required. 
  • Assisting with desk and furniture moves, collaborating with the Workplace Coordinator and IT team. 
  • Organising and arranging the studio spaces, ensuring all areas are kept presentable and accessible to all users. 
  • Maintaining both the studio and off-site stock management, including studio consumables e.g. kitchenettes, merchandise, and equipment, and monitoring used-by dates, and ordering when required. 
  • Support the canteen team with receipt and movement of stock and assisting with the layout and set-up of the canteen environment. 
  • Complete and document studio usage assessments on assets such as meeting rooms and hot-desks and resetting rooms and spaces after use ensuring they’re presentable for other users. 
  • Collect, monitor, and arrange appropriate recycling collection of waste electrical appliances and equipment, liaising with contractor partners.  
  • Support the Studio Communications team with onsite and external social events, such as setting-up event spaces. 
  • Handling ad-hoc requests with a prompt, efficient, outgoing, and can-do manner. 
  • Support with the companies’ waste and recycling processes including liaising with contractors to provide frequent and accurate data.

Due to the nature of this role, no previous experience within a facilities position is required.
