Finance Assistant

Purpose of the role

As part of our continued growth we have an opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join our Finance team. As the Finance Assistant you will be reporting to the Head of Financial Operations and working closely with the Payables Manager to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.

The Finance Team works collaboratively together and with many other areas of the business; this role in particular works closely with the Procurement function and department budget holders. Not only does the Finance Team work towards internal and external reporting requirements, we also provide support to our project teams where necessary to deliver amazing games.

Responsibilities

  • Process purchase invoices
  • Reconcile and post bank transactions in multiple currencies
  • Purchase ledger allocations
  • Post credit card transactions in multiple currencies
  • Process expense claims
  • Reconcile sales transactions from the Frontier store in multiple currencies
  • Liaise with other members of the business regarding invoice approvals and adhoc purchase ledger queries
  • Liaise with banks and suppliers regarding any correspondence and queries that may arise
  • Manage the petty cash accounts in multiple currencies
  • Assist in creating share option communication documents and adhoc administration
  • Keep the Payables Manager informed of any outstanding financial issues
  • Setting up out of cycle bank payments and covering the payment run where necessary.

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Excel
  • Flexible in working approach, and able to work in a team environment.

  • Desirable:
  • Experience in using a finance system.
